The following photograph of Rotorua Squad 2 was probably taken in November 1914. George Douglas Tayler is kneeling behind the flag and his best friend John Albert Harp is 5th from left at the back. Harp is on the honor roll as he was killed on 5 June 1915 at Gallipoli.
