WILSON, Pte G C L, a well-known Canterbury and NZ representative cricketer, has been killed in action.

HOOD, Flight Lieutenant George, son of Mr F Hood of Upper Plain, Masterton, fell a distance of 2,000 ft and sustained such injuries as necessitated the amputation of a leg.
