NEW ZEALAND WAR MEMORIALS AND ROLLS OF HONOUR
TE PUKE HIGH SCHOOL
WORLD WAR ONE AND WORLD WAR TWO

BAY OF PLENTY TIME 13 SEPTEMBER 2018
Te Puke High School is on the hunt for family and whanau of those mentioned on its World War I and II roll of honour.
With money from Te Puke Rotary Club and the RSA Charitable Trust, the roll of honour board has been refurbished and moved to the school hall entrance.
School groundsman Kim Hinaki is a member of Te Puke Rotary and was asked if the service club could assist with the cost.
He then asked members of the Te Puke RSA who suggested the charitable trust, which ultimately paid for the refurbishment.
The newly refurbished roll of honour will be unveiled on September 17 at 9am ad Kim is keen to invite family/whanau of those whose family names are on it to the unveiling.
He says many of the names are still associated with Te Puke.
